These provocations tasks set for my University course, each had a general brief giving us flexibility to explore a variety of ideas and styles.
The brief for this work was to create a statement piece for the observer magazine. I chose to focus on chaos and create an illustration on Procreate to depict the danger of oil. The idea was to bring the danger to where the consumers are, as there is usually a divide between consumers and the impact of it.
This brief was set as a new exhibit in the Tate Modern Museum titled "GENDER NOW!" the specific focus was on the fluidity of gender. Thus, I composed a pop art inspired illustration of gender ambiguous figures.
This brief was focused on setting and character design. I created myself in my own room. I focused on the effect of light in the creation of atmosphere and mood in the room.
This brief was to focus on a social issue, including movements such as #MeToo and #BLM. I chose the #MeToo movement where I wanted to focus on the abuse of power in politics and how status and wealth plays a factor in humanitarian issues.
