To develop my skills in motion graphics I undertook personal projects all created on procreate and procreate dreams.
Project 1: Between the Bars (Music Video)
My biggest animation project. I wanted to create a piece of art that demonstrated the feeling of growing up: the pain and happiness that surrounds the emotion that is nostalgia. It was a particularly personal project as when I was creating it I was moving out of my childhood home for good and would not be able to return. This project was completed in 2 weeks.
Project 2: Lucas and Lily
This was a University Project (Lucas and Lily). I wanted to develop my animation skills and bring an aspect of the game to life!
Project 3: Practise work
Experimenting with simple shapes and colours!
Using light in a very simple way to animate my room in University!
Experimenting with different textures and procreate brushes.
Bringing a more stylised character into an animation.
Project 4: Marmite Motion Graphics
This brief was to create a motion graphic advertisement for a company of our choosing. I chose the company marmite as their brand promise and identity was particularly intriguing to me. The divisiveness of marmite as a product and the idea of loyal customers was an interesting idea to create a motion graphic for.
